Defensive Back Lorenzo Waters with Rutgers University

SPOKANE, Washington (September 30, 2015) - The Shock have announced the addition of defensive back Lorenzo Waters to their 2016 IFL roster.
Lorenzo Waters (DB, 6-1, 205, Rutgers) joins the Shock for his rookie season as a member of the IFL. Waters played all four of his collegiate seasons at Rutgers University (NJ). Waters appeared in eleven games during his redshirt freshman season at defensive back before transitioning to strong safety for his final three seasons. During those final three seasons, Waters would compete in 38 contests and start in 37 of those games at strong safety on his way to recording 201 total tackles. He played his prep career at DeMatha High School in Hyattsville, Maryland where he earned All-State honors. Waters is originally from Accokeek, MD.
