Corpus Christi Sharks News Release

The Corpus Christi Sharks return home to the American Bank Center this Saturday Night to take on the defending af2 champion Tennessee Valley Vipers for the team first home game in nearly a month.

Saturday night's game has been designated as the Sharks 3rd Annual Ladies Night with a special emphasis on creating awareness for breast cancer eradication. Sharks players will participate in raising Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing a special pink jersey during the game and play with special footballs highlighted with pink. Following the game, the jerseys will be autographed and auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Breast & Cervical Cancer Clinics of STFPHC, a facility that provide screening services to women and families that could otherwise not afford it. Additionally a portion of the ticket proceeds will also go to this charity.

"Our mission for Ladies Night is simple; to use our high profile status as a professional sports franchise to raise awareness of breast cancer in the Coastal Bend and to raise money for local organizations that support this cause", said Sharks Vice President and General Manager Larry Linde. "We have designated a charity that helps women in early detection, which is key to successful treatment and survival".

The Sharks will also be offering the popular Family 4 Pack again. Fans can purchase 4 tickets for only $32.

For more information, or to book your group for this special night, call the Sharks office at (361)882-9292 or visit www.ccsharks.com.
