Martha's Vineyard Sharks News Release
The MARTHA'S VINEYARD SHARKS announced the signing of STEVE SCHOETTMER, third baseman from WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY.
Schoettmer, who is 6'3" and is 200 lbs., was a two-year varsity letter winner at Jesuit College Preparatory School under head coach Kevin Williamson. Schoettmer was an All-District 5-A infielder and was awarded the Jesuit Ranger Award in baseball. Schoettmer is coming off an injury and his head coach, Tom Walter at Wake Forest University, stated that Schoettmer "has a good solid approach at the plate and flashes good power. I wish we had him last year."
