Martha's Vineyard Sharks News Release

An eighth inning explosion by the Worchester Bravehearts sent the Martha's Vineyard Sharks to their fifth straight defeat as the Sharks fell 11-0.

The Sharks trailed just 4-0 heading into the eighth inning, but the Bravehearts put together a seven hit rally in the eighth inning en route to plating seven runs in the frame. The crushing blow came off the bat of Matthew Diesel who slammed the ball over the right field fence for a grand slam.

The Sharks travel to Nashua on Sunday before returning home for a 7:00 pm game on Tuesday against the Seacoast Mavericks.
