The Wilmington Sharks scored three runs in the third and fourth inning and four runs in the fifth and seventh inning on their way to a 14-2 exhibition game victory over the Post 10 Legion team Tuesday night as part of the team's first annual Fan Fest at Buck Hardee Field.

With one out and the game scoreless in the top of the third. Tucker Greer hit a triple and then came in to score on a sacrifice fly by Drew Yniesta. Corey Everett then singled and advanced to second when Parker Nolan drew a walk. CJ Conrad doubled them both home to make it 3-0.

With the Sharks leading 6-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Brian Kemp hit a double and then came in to score on a single by Zach Zabrinski to put Post 10 on the board. Zabrinski came in to score on a Sharks fielding error trimming it to 6-2.

Post 10 would not get any closer as the Sharks then batted around in their four-run fifth to go up 10- 2. They then repeated the same feat in their four-run seventh.

The Sharks will open the 2019 regular season on Thursday May 30th against the Fayetteville SwampDogs. It is Thirsty Thursday featuring $1 beers. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05PM with the gates opening at 6:00PM.
