Corpus Christi, TX January 25, 2007 - The Corpus Christi Sharks are hoping to find a diamond in the rough and add some local flavor to their roster as they prepare for their inaugural season which kicks off April 7th, 2007 at the American Bank Center Arena in downtown Corpus Christi. The Sharks, the newest member of af2, announced today that they will be hosting an open tryouts in February. The final open tryout will take place here in Corpus Christi on Saturday, February 24th at Moody high school. Tryouts are open to individuals at least 18 years of age with a valid ID. There is a $40 processing fee.

Site: Moody High School Football Field - 1818 Trojan Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78416
Grass Field - will use track for 40 yd dash testing - no track spikes allowed
Time: 8:30am Registration for OL / DL / FB / LB / PK
11:00am Registration for QB / WR / DB
Fee: $40 (US Currency or Money Orders - no checks allowed)
Tryout Requirements
Testing will include the 40/20 yd dash, 20 yd short shuttle, agility drills, one on one evaluation. Participants will receive a Combine Shirt to be worn through the event. All Participants must be at least 18 years old and sign a Waiver with valid ID.
