Several vintage Rivermen items on sale now at auction

Peoria, IL (June 1, 2006) - Peoria Rivermen Director of Merchandise Angie Sammons announced today that the Rivermen are now offering for sale three vintage ECHL Rivermen items at auction. Two laminated Rivermen posters are now available on the Internet auction site eBay, and a 2004-05 Rivermen mascot jersey is now up for auction on rivermen.net, the official Website of the Peoria Rivermen Hockey Club.
The two laminated, full-color Rivermen posters now on sale on eBay were displayed on the Carver Arena concourse during the 2004-05 ECHL Rivermen season. One poster measures 118" wide x 32" tall and details the 2004-05 conference and division alignment of the ECHL. The other poster measures 94" wide x 42.5" tall and displays the four primary logos that represented Peoria's professional hockey teams in the International Hockey League and the ECHL from 1982 through 2005. These posters can be located on eBay using either the keyword "ECHL" or "Rivermen," and they will be up for bids until next week.
The authentic Rivermen jersey that is now being auctioned off on the rivermen.net homepage was worn by the Rivermen mascot "The Captain" during the 2004-05 season. It is an officially licensed, authentic-weight jersey that includes a fight-strap, a reinforced shoulder yoke and elbows, and a Steak 'n' Shake logo screened on the back. The auction for this jersey will close on Thursday, June 8, at 7:00 p.m. CDT.
The Peoria Rivermen are now offering for sale a variety of ticket packages for the upcoming 2006-07 season. Packages that include 40, 25, 12, and seven games, plus several benefits, are now on sale through the Rivermen business office.
