
Seven QMJHL officials invited to under-17 World Junior Hockey Championship evaluation camp

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, November 7, 2006 - Seven Quebec Major Junior Hockey League officials have been invited to participate in Hockey Canada's evaluation camp (OPOE) for the upcoming under-17 World Junior Hockey Championship tournament, which will be held from February 23 to March 3 during the Canadian Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon.
QMJHL invitees include referees Mathieu Côté and Yannick Boisclair from Quebec as well as Jonathan MacIsaac from Nova-Scotia. As for the linesmen, they are Frédéric Leblanc, Yannick Gaudreault and Jonathan Cantin from Quebec and Justin Burchell from New-Brunswick.
The Officiating Program of Excellence evaluation camp will be held from November 16 to 18 in Moncton.
