Sergey Popov Named Huron Tractor Attacker of the Week

The Attack coaching staff have named Sergey Popov the Huron Tractor Attacker of the Week for his performance in Week 19 of the OHL season.

Owen Sound went 2-1 through the week, picking up 4 major points against Western Conference rivals in a battle for playoff position. Popov led the way for the Attack, scoring in every game including a three point effort on Saturday night where he scored twice and added an assist. The 19-year-old leads the team in scoring this season with 13 goals and 37 assists for 50 points, doubling his previous career best point total.

Popov and the Attack are back in action on Friday night to meet the Rangers in Kitchener. The Attack return to the Bayshore on Saturday night to meet the Windsor Spitfires. Tickets are available at the MacVicar & McComb Sutton Realty Attack Box Office and online.
