The Harrisburg Senators and Erie SeaWolves played an old-fashioned slugfest with the Sens coming out on top 10-8. Harrisburg turned a 2-0 deficit into a 6-2 lead with a six-run second inning. But Erie didn't fold their hand and plated runs in four consecutive innings to retake the lead. Harrisburg plated three in the seventh to reclaim the lead and the game.

The Big Play

With the game tied in the seventh, Blake Rutherford doubled in two runs to give the Senators a 10-8 which they would protect for the win.

On Capitol Hill

Tyler Beck made the spot start and went three innings and allowed two runs on four hits.

Reid Schaller followed and allowed three runs on four hits over 1.2 innings.

Tim Cate went 2.1 innings and allowed three runs on four hits but retired the final three batters he faced.

Evan Lee pitched a perfect eighth inning.

Joel Peguero earned the save with a perfect ninth inning.

With the Gavel

Blake Rutherford went 4-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and scored two runs.

Drew Millas drove in five runs with a grand slam and an RBI single.

Leonel Valera, Donovan Casey and Jackson Cluff all had two hits in the game.

Filibusters

The game time was 3:07, the longest nine-inning game this season... The game was delayed 64 minutes by rain... The ten runs are a season-high for the Senators... Harrisburg went 6-for-18 with runners in scoring position.

The Senators and Erie SeaWolves play game six of their six-game series at FNB Field Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Stations 96.5 FM, 95.3 FM, and 1400 AM beginning at 12:45 p.m.
