
Second Half Opener Postponed

JACKSON, Tenn. - The second half opener between the Blue Wahoos and Jackson Generals was postponed due to rain Thursday night at The Ballpark at Jackson. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday evening starting at 4:05 p.m. Both games will be seven innings.
This will be the first of a six-game series between the Blue Wahoos and Generals. It's the final series between the Wahoos and the Generals this season. The Generals are coming off a first-half crown in the Southern League North Division.
The Blue Wahoos will pitch RHP Daniel Wright (3-4, 4.56) in game one against RHP Joel Payamps (4-2, 3.16). Game two will feature RHP Wyatt Strahan (5-6, 6.68) against LHP Bo Takahashi (0-1, 8.56).
