
Second Half Begins Thursday with 9-Game Home Stand

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 23, 2015) -- The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, will open the Second Half of the South Atlantic League season with a nine-game home stand at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System starting on Thursday, June 25, with five games against the Asheville Tourists (Colorado Rockies) followed by four games against the West Virginia Power (Pittsburgh Pirates). The team will be home through Friday, July 3, with an Independence holiday fireworks show to wrap up the home stand. With the team once again on the road for July 4, the ballpark will again play host to our All-American Community Celebration and Fireworks show.

Our string of "Throwback Thursdays" continues with 90s Night at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System. Enjoy a promotion 20 years (has it been that long already?!) in the making as we salute the 90s all game long. Thirsty Thursday features discounted drinks all game long and post-game Launch-A-Ball presented by Dick's Sporting Goods. This season, 16 oz. draft beers are only $1.50, 32 oz. draft beers are only $3.00, and bottles of soda and water are only $2.00 throughout the game.

Two-for-Tuesday is presented by Arby's. Fans that show any Arby's proof of purchase at the box office will receive 2-for-1 tickets at all Tuesday home games. The Intimidators will also offer various 2-for-1 deals throughout the ballpark at concessions stands and in the Intimidation Station souvenir store. Tuesdays are Senior Night with free admission to all Senior Club members (ages 55 and older). All game long, we will be playing BINGO between innings with an opportunity for fans to win Intimidators prize packs and tickets to future games.

Spend the Fourth of July at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System with a special community celebration featuring a little league baseball game under the lights starting at 7:05 p.m., a special patriotic parade around the field at 8:30 p.m. for kids wearing red, white, and blue, and Fourth of July fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Celebration America's birthday at the ballpark. All seating is general admission, and tickets are only $5 for adults, $4 for kids (4-12) and seniors (55+). Children 3-and-under are admitted free.
