
Seattle Supports Sounders FC as the Club Moves Straight Ahead into 2021 Playoff Campaign

SEATTLE, WASH. - As Sounders FC heads into its 13th consecutive postseason - extending the club's record as the longest playoff streak in MLS history and second-longest active stretch among the five major men's sports leagues in the United States - Seattle institutions are showing their support of the club in a variety of ways.
Sounders FC's 2021 playoff campaign is presented by WaFd Bank, the club's exclusive banking partner, and kicks off on Tuesday, November 23, as the Rave Green take on Real Salt Lake at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT / FS1, FOX Deportes, 1090 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
COMMUNITY ACTIVATIONS
All Washington State Ferries sailing into and out of Colman Dock on Bainbridge and Bremerton routes are flying Sounders FC flags on Tuesday, November 23.
At Pike Place Market, the famous Pike Place Fish Market fishmongers are supporting their local club by decorating their Market stall on Monday, November 22 and Tuesday, November 23.
LIGHTING ACTIVATIONS
Sounders FC's home, Lumen Field, and its recognizable arches are leading the way with Rave Green lighting on Monday, November 22 and Tuesday, November 23.
The Seattle Mariners support their neighbors by changing T-Mobile Park's magenta lighting to Rave Green on Monday, November 22 and Tuesday, November 23.
In addition, the statues of Mariners legends Ken Griffey Jr. and Edgar Martinez, located on the corner of First Avenue and Edgar Martinez Drive, will be dressed in Sounders FC jerseys these evenings as well.
The Allen Institute, founded by late Sounders FC Owner and Seattle visionary Paul Allen, lights green on Monday, November 22 and Tuesday, November 23.
The 520 Bridge is lighting its sentinels green for the club on Tuesday, November 23.
The Columbia Center and its crown lighting also go green high above the Seattle skyline on Tuesday, November 23.
Next Tuesday's match marks the sixth all-time postseason meeting between Seattle and Real Salt Lake, with the Rave Green holding a 3-1-1 playoff record against RSL. Brian Schmetzer's side secured the second seed in the Western Conference on Decision Day with a 1-1 draw at Vancouver. With the result, the Rave Green also clinched the 2021 Cascadia Cup and a berth in the 2022 Concacaf Champions League.
