Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - This November 19, CF Montréal, a proud partner of PROCURE, announced midfielder Samuel Piette as an official Bowvember ambassador, as part of the Club's mission to highlight Prostate Cancer Awareness Day in Quebec.
The 8th edition of Bowvember invites Canadians to fight prostate and testicular cancer in style by wearing the bow tie created by designer Philippe Dubuc, a symbol of the fight against men's cancers. Following a partnership between PROCURE and Testicular Cancer Canada, Bowvember launches nationally today, expanding outside Quebec for the first time, and with more ambassadors than ever.
"Over the last seven campaigns, we have seen Bowvember gain attention, both through the sales of bow ties and a growing interest from public figures in becoming campaign ambassadors," said Laurent Proulx, CEO of PROCURE. "For our eighth year, and as we partner with TCC, we have a record number of ambassadors involved, generously offering their time and influence to spread awareness about this important cause which affects 12 men each day in Quebec. My great friend Jean Pagé, Ambassador Emeritus, would be very proud."
The bow tie and pocket square are available for $40 on bowvember.ca and at multiple partner boutiques, including Point S, Distribution Stox, Mesbobettes, Chez Ashton, as well as Ernest and Philippe Dubuc. Through the sale of 6,500 bow ties and pocket squares, a limited-edition Jean Pagé box set of four exclusive bow ties, and donations from the public, PROCURE aims to surpass the $4M raised since Bowvember first launched in 2014.
