Seattle Reign FC News Release
SEATTLE - Seattle Reign FC has signed its second-round pick (17th overall) in the 2014 NWSL College Draft, defender Megan Brigman. Brigman was signed for the 2014 season with a club option for the 2015 season. Per league and club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The North Carolina Tar Heel fills Reign FC's final open roster spot as Seattle is now at the league maximum of 20 players under contract.
"Megan was someone that we watched carefully last season and hoped would be available with our 2nd pick," Reign FC head coach and general manager Laura Harvey said. "She has done very well in preseason training and we believe she has the potential to develop into a successful professional player."
