January 11, 2010 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Seattle Mountaineers News Release
The 24th ranked Mountaineers defeated the Chico Rage twice over the weekend, in Seattle. On Saturday, the Mountaineers won 105-97, led by Tyler Amaya and Chris keller's 28 points a piece.
The Sunday game proved the most competitive of the weekend games with Chico jumping out to an early 10 point lead only to have the Mountaineers regroup to lead 52-47 at halftime. The 2nd half was a see saw affair with numerous lead changes until a steal and basket with 5 seconds to go by Jamaal Miller sealed the victory for the Mountaineers 106-103. Rashaad Powell 30 points and Jamaal Miller 24 top scored for Seattle with Nick Pederson picking up 27 points for Chico.
