Seattle Mountaineers News Release

He averaged 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists for Benedict College(SC). Benedict has played in the NCAA D-II playoffs the last 2 years.
" What we get in Kennie is a very solid player that does more on the floor than his stats indicate. Benedict's Coach Fred Watson was so high on Kennie and his abilities I made a special trip to South Carolina to see Kennie play and was impressed. Kennie is not only an outstanding basketball player but is also a solid person of character. He will do well in our program", stated Mountaineer Coach Sims.
