Seattle Impact FC Complete Player and Dance Team Tryouts

Kent, WA-The second round of player tryouts for the Seattle Impact FC and dance auditions for the Ladies with Impact shattered expectations. These weekend-long events took place inside of the team's home arena, ShoWare Center.
Over 50 players attended and took part in the player tryouts this weekend! These Impact FC hopefuls participated in 6-on-6 scrimmages that varied in length. In addition to the players trying out for the team, current members such as Gordy Gurson, Jeff Bader, Francisco Cisneros, and Dion Earl also participated in these mini-games.
The dance auditions for the Ladies with Impact saw more than 20 dancers auditioning! On Saturday, the girls were learning a dance routine that was to be performed before a judging panel on Sunday. These judges' evaluations were used to assist Ladies with Impact co-captains Lauren Baumann and Elizabeth Buslon in the difficult process of making final cuts for the dance team. Of the more than 20 dancers that auditioned, 11 were selected to be on the 2014 Ladies with Impact team!
With the second round of player tryouts and dance team auditions completed, we are approaching closer to the beginning of the Impact's inaugural season. The team kicks off their inaugural season with a home game against the San Diego Sockers on November 8, 2014. Tickets on sale now. Details can be found on the team website: www.SeattleImpactFC.com.
