SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle continues to support Sounders FC this week, ahead of the club's Western Conference Semifinals matchup against Real Salt Lake on Wednesday evening. The Rave Green beat FC Dallas on Saturday in a thrilling 4-3 extra-time victory, advancing to host the Conference Semifinals tomorrow.

The match is being nationally broadcast on FS1 and FOX Deportes, with a prompt 7:05 p.m. kickoff, so fans are encouraged to be in their seats early to lend the Rave Green the homefield advantage for which CenturyLink Field is famous.

As usual, a variety of civic activations scheduled to take place throughout the Puget Sound region in the coming days, as community institutions join with the club to spread excitement and pride around the greater metropolitan area surrounding Sounders FC's run in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs.

COMMUNITY ACTIVATIONS

All Washington State Ferries sailing into and out of Colman Dock on Bainbridge and Bremerton routes on Wednesday, October 23 will fly Sounders FC flags. Additionally, Sammy the Sounder will be aboard two selected sailings this afternoon to surprise passengers with Sounders spirit and giveaways.

Pike Place Market, one of Seattle's most iconic and well-trafficked locations proudly displays its support for Sounders FC as Market celebrity Rachel the Piggy Bank dons a Sounders FC scarf on Wednesday, October 23.

Sounders fans are encouraged to help bring good fortune to the Rave Green by stopping in to take advantage of the area legend that promises luck to those who rub Rachel's snout and make a wish.

All donations to the Market Piggy Banks support services in Pike Place Market, so fans can give to a good cause while bringing luck to Sounders FC and capturing one-of-a-kind Seattle photographs.

Delta Air Lines, the official airline of Sounders FC, along with team alum and current broadcast analyst Steve Zakuani, are giving passengers at various gates at Sea-Tac cobranded rally towels so that fans can show their support of the club even while they are traveling.

LIGHTING ACTIVATIONS

The Allen Institute, founded by late Sounders FC Owner and Seattle icon Paul Allen, lights green on Tuesday, October 22 and Wednesday, October 23.

Columbia Center and its crown lighting will glow green in support of Sounders FC on Wednesday, October 23.

CenturyLink Field and its recognizable arches are scheduled to light Rave Green on Tuesday, October 22 and Wednesday, October 23. Following the victory over FC Dallas in the first round of playoff action on Saturday, Sounders FC continues its 11th consecutive postseason campaign this week as the Western Conference's second seed in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs. The Rave Green face third-place Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference Semifinals on Wednesday, October 23 at CenturyLink Field.

Should Seattle advance on Wednesday, it would face the winner of the LA Galaxy and Los Angeles FC in the Western Conference Championship.

With new postseason formatting this season in MLS, clubs play in three rounds of conference playoffs: the first round, Conference Semifinals and Conference Finals. Each round now consists of one single-elimination match, with the higher-seeded opponent as host.
