Some games are just not meant to be. The Seals played their worst game of the season to date. Florida came out uninspired against the league's first place team and paid the price in a 4-1 loss.

Fayetteville controlled the entire game asserting their style on the road. The FireAntz power play clicked well scoring twice in six chances. George Nistas and Rob Whidden led the visitors scoring a goal and assist each in the win.

FireAntz goaltender Jomar Cruz had a quiet night only needing 20 saves for the victory. The Seals lone goal came late in the third period when Steve Zoryk attacked the net on the power play.
