Florida Seals News Release

Orlando Seals head coach Jim Paek expects a very competitive training camp when 27 players are expected to report to Orlando on October 25th.

With a few possible late additions, Paek says the training camp roster is pretty much finalized, featuring four goaltenders, seven defensemen, and 16 forwards.

"The guys better come to camp in shape, because we're not going to have a lot of time to do conditioning," Paek said. "If they are a step behind, I don't know if they'll be able to make it up."

Eight of the players invited to the Seals camp ended last season with Orlando, as the Seals won the President's Cup. The Seals will hold training camp at RDV Sportsplex, including an exhibition game there on Saturday November 1 at 4 p.m.

The Seals, Orlando's only reigning professional championship team open their season at TD Waterhouse Centre on Saturday November 8 against the Lakeland Loggerheads. For more information call the Seals at (407) 447-PUCK (7825).
