
Seals Making a Playoff Push

Calgary, AB - Looking to claim the first playoff berth in franchise history, the Victoria Seals open up a four-game set against Calgary tonight, sitting just two and a half games back of the first-place Vipers. The Seals then travel to Telus Field in Edmonton before closing out the regular season against the Capitals next weekend at Royal Athletic Park!
Both Calgary and Victoria have just 11 games remaining in 2010 campaign, while the Seals have used three straight wins to close the gap on first place and the North Division playoff spot that comes with it. Heading into the weekend, Victoria is in sole possession of second place, one and a half games ahead of Edmonton with a home-and-home series against the Capitals looming.
Tonight also marks the return of Seals broadcaster Mike Walker, who will have the call for game one against the Vipers at 6:00 p.m. (PT). Fans can tune into the live video webcast from Foothills Stadium by clicking the 'Watch Live' link at www.victoriaseals.ca.
