[CELEBRATION, Fla.] - Florida Seals Head Coach Tommy Stewart continues to add players to his training camp roster. Defenseman Jeff Cameron and Trevor Hammer have been invited to the Seals' training camp this October.

Both players are expected to be two of the top three defenseman, along with Art Mnatsakanov, and keys to the Seals success during the 2005-2006 season. All three are expected to help out the Seals goalies keep the puck out of the net.

Cameron a 6'1", 215-pounder spent the last three season splitting time in the United Hockey League, Central Hockey League (CHL) and ECHL. Last season Cameron played 58 games for Memphis and Tulsa scoring 21 points and registering 101 penalty minutes.

"Jeff will be a fourth year player who has had a lot of experience," said Stewart, "I expect him to be a workhorse for us and spend a lot of time on special teams."

Hammer will be expected to help the Seals offensively, yet be one of the better defensive players in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Last year the Roseau, Minn. native played for the New Mexico Scorpions in the CHL.

"In college Trevor was a very good offensive defenseman; he was a huge leader on the power play," said Stewart, "The last three season as a pro he has improved his defensive skills and I expect him to be a big addition to the roster on both sides of the puck."

The Seals will continue to fill out their training camp roster in the coming weeks. Stewart expects to build a championship caliber team once again.
