Seals Announce Home Playoffs Dates for March 20 & 22

ORLANDO - The first-place Orlando Seals learned Tuesday they will play at home at TD Waterhouse Centre at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, and at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, in the first round of the inaugural President's Cup playoffs. The Seals will host their final home game of the regular season on Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m.

The Seals (41(2)-15), who earned the Commissioner's Cup for winning the regular season and taking the top seed in the playoffs, will play the fourth-place finishers in a best-of-five series in the opening round. The 2003 Atlantic Coast Hockey League playoffs will consist of two rounds of best-of-five series with Nos. 1 vs. 4 and Nos. 2 vs. 3 squaring off in the first round.

PLAYOFF PROMOTIONS: The Seals will offer five tickets for $25 for the March 20th matchup courtesy of Primo Hoagies. March 22 will be another Seals Four Pack Night where fans can get four lower-bowl tickets, four Seals caps, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $52 courtesy of REAL Radio 104.1 and Cheap Guys Computers. Seals Waive F Bisson

The Orlando Seals placed forward Todd Bisson on waivers Tuesday.

Bisson, 24, of Welland, Ontario, was minus-2 in two games for Orlando. The Seals were Bisson's fourth ACHL team this season. He had recorded two goals and four assists in 19 total games with the FireAntz, Ice Bears and Parrots. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound forward scored 45 goals and had 57 assists in 111 games for Canisius College from 1997-2001. Last season he played 41 games for Asheville of the United Hockey League, notching six goals and five assists for the Smoke.
