
Sea Dogs trade Gauthier to Foreurs

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, October 6, 2008 - The Saint John Sea Dogs and the Val-d'Or Foreurs completed a trade on Monday.
The Sea Dogs traded winger François Gauthier (88-01-27) as well as their 5th round pick in next year's draft to the Foreurs for their first round selection in the 2009 CHL Import Draft.
"Francois was a big part of our success last season and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours," said Saint John Sea Dogs head coach and general manager, Jacques Beaulieu.
Gauthier, a St-Jean-Chrysostome native, collected three goals and two assists in six games with the Sea Dogs this season. He also registered a +3 rating.
