
Sea Dawgs outlast Cougarz in a thriller

Wilmington, NC- It wasn't until just under 7 minutes to go in the 4th quarter that the Sea Dawgs secured their first lead of the game. The play of the game came when Adrian Malcom threw a behind the back pass to Zach Herrmann on a fast break for a layup to give the Sea Dawgs a 99-98 lead. The Dawgs closed the game strong, beating the Carolina Cougarz 116-108.
This victory moves the Wilmington Sea Dawgs to 5-1 for the season and atop the CBL standings. Jim Jones, Zach Herrmann, and Aaron Scott each led the Dawgs with 17 points apiece. Malcom came off the bench to score 14 points.
