Scrappers Seeking 2014 Host Families

Mahoning Valley Scrappers News Release


The Mahoning Valley Scrappers invite all individuals and families interested in being a part of the 2014 host family program to an informational meeting on May 28th at 6:30 PM at Eastwood Field. Since the Scrappers inaugural season in 1999, families in the Mahoning Valley have had the opportunity to host and provide a supportive atmosphere for Indians' prospects from mid June through early September.

The Scrappers schedule of 38 regular season home games, team practices, and other obligations result in the player spending minimal time in the host family's home. In addition to creating a lasting bond with their player, host families receive complementary tickets to each home game, discounts on team merchandise and more.
