
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to Play Six 'Home' Games Vs. Bisons at Coca-Cola Field

The International League announced today that the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees will play six 'home' games against the Buffalo Bisons at Coca-Cola Field next season. The Yankees will play all of their 2012 home games on the road as the club renovates PNC Field in Moosic, PA.
The Bisons will be the road team and bat first against the Yankees for the games May 24-27 and August 20-21 in Buffalo. Game times will be announced along with the rest of the Bisons games later this off-season.
The Bisons' 'road games' against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on July 7-8 will be played at Alliance Bank Stadium in Syracuse as the team prepares for the 25th Annual Triple-A All-Star Game at Coca-Cola Field.
The schedule adjustments will give Bisons fans a great opportunity to catch a few extra games in 2012. The Herd will now be home for 16 straight games, May 15-31 and for 17 games in a 19-game stretch, August 10-28.
The entire Yankees 2012 schedule will disbursed among five International League cities as well as one New York-Penn League city. The Yankees will play home games in Batavia, Buffalo, Lehigh Valley, Pawtucket, Rochester and Syracuse.
