Most of the damage came in the second inning, starting with a double by Chris Weekly. Justin Hendrickson followed with his third home run of the season, a towering blast to left field, giving the Flyers a 2-0 lead. Later in the inning, Ted Ledbetter added an RBI single and Geoff McCallum followed with an RBI ground out to first to make the score 4-0. The Flyers had five consecutive hits with one away before McCallum was retired for the second out.

Opportunity came knocking again in the fifth, as Weekly (3-for-4, RBI) added an RBI single. Gord and Ledbetter followed with their second RBI of the night, moving the score to 7-0. Gord finished the game with a perfect night at the plate, batting 4-for-4 with four singles, one RBI and a run scored. Hendrickson and Ledbetter led the Flyers with two RBI apiece.

The Flyers will try to take the final game of the series on Thursday night with LHP Anthony Boughner (1-0) looking to successfully follow Bailie's Wednesday performance. RHP Todd George (0-0) will draw the start for Fargo. Tickets are available for the 7:05 PM game at flyersbaseball.com or at (847) 891-2255.
