Saturday Game Time Changed
November 27, 2007 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and Tulsa Oilers have agreed to change the start time of Saturday's game between the two teams from 7:35 pm to 3:00 pm at the Tulsa Convention Center.
The change is to avoid a conflict between the Oilers' Saturday home game against the Mudbugs and the Big 12 Championship football game featuring the University of Oklahoma . The Mudbugs have agreed to the change to help the Oilers avoid forcing their fans to choose between watching the Tulsa hockey game or the Oklahoma Sooners football game.
So the Mudbugs vs. Oilers hockey game on Saturday will be played at 3:00 in the afternoon with kickoff for the Big 12 Championship Game between Oklahoma and Missouri to follow at 7:00 that evening.
Tune in to hear the Mudbugs game against Tulsa on News radio 710 AM KEEL with the pre-game show starting at 2:45 pm. This game will not be aired on the CHL Network online, but you can still listen to the live call on the internet at www.710keel.com.
The Mudbugs will play a set of two home games before Saturday's road game with Tulsa . Thursday night at the CenturyTel Center , Bossier-Shreveport takes on the Wichita Thunder for the first time this season, followed on Friday night by another home match up with the division rival Youngstown SteelHounds. Tickets are still available for both games through Ticketmaster or by calling 318-752-BUGS.
