Sarasota, Fl. - Sarasota Paradise is proud to announce the signing of defender Callum Stretch, an experienced and versatile player who joins the club ahead of its inaugural professional season. With professional experience in both the United States and abroad, Stretch brings leadership, adaptability, and a winning mentality to Sarasota's back line.

Born in Los Angeles, Stretch began his soccer journey with a move to England at a young age to sign with Aston Villa, an opportunity that helped launch a diverse and accomplished career. His development overseas led to selection with the U.S. Youth National Teams, a standout collegiate career, and international experience with the Puerto Rico Senior National Team. Most recently, Stretch spent two seasons with South Georgia Tormenta FC, where he made over 60 professional appearances, becoming a key figure in their defensive unit.

A tactically intelligent defender, Stretch is known for his versatility and athleticism. His awareness, composure on the ball, and leadership qualities make him a reliable presence in and out of possession.

Joining Sarasota Paradise represents the next chapter in Stretch's professional journey - one defined by growth and ambition.

Head Coach and Technical Director Mika Elovaara expressed his enthusiasm about the signing.

He left home and signed a contract with a historic EPL club at only 16 years of age, and has built a successful career with the game ever since. With youth and senior national team experience as well as an accomplished college career in his past, Callum brings maturity and winning experience into our locker room. We expect him to hit the ground running, playing an important role on the field and in our community."
