FRISCO, Tex. - The Santa Cruz Warriors defeated the Texas Legends 112-102 Friday night in a game where six Warriors players scored in double-digits and two recorded season-highs.

The Santa Cruz Warriors were led by Travis Leslie, who scored a season-high 31 points on 14-18 shooting off the bench, along with seven rebounds and a season-high six steals. Cameron Jones scored 17 points, while Darington Hobson grabbed a season-high 15 boards and dished out a season-high eight assists in his first start as a Warrior. Edwin Ubiles scored 15 points, Hilton Armstrong and Moe Baker each added 12, and Stefhon Hannah chipped in with 10.

The Texas Legends were paced by Rashad McCants, who scored 25 points. Melvin Ely had a team-high 10 rebounds, while Jared Cunningham, on assignment from the Dallas Mavericks, scored 15.

The contest was tied ten times. Texas came within one point with 2:42 left in the game, but the Warriors went on a 9-0 run to seal the victory. Santa Cruz won the rebound battle (42-30) and outshot their opponent (54.5%-49.4%). The Warriors held the edge on assists (31-21) and outscored the Legends by 30 in the paint.
