
Houston Rockets Re-Assign Jones to NBA D-League Affiliate Rio Grande Valley Vipers

NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2013 - The Houston Rockets today re-assigned Terrence Jones to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Houston's NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the record 122nd of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons, while Jones is one of a record 52 players who have been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.
Jones (6-9, 252, Kentucky) re-joins the Vipers following four previous assignments when he played in 12 games, all starts, and averaged 19.1 points and 9.8 rebounds. He has appeared in 11 games for Houston this season, averaging 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds.
Jones is expected to join the Vipers today and be available tomorrow when the team travels to play the Maine Red Claws at 7 p.m. ET.
