Bighorns Fall to Sioux Falls in Overtime

Sioux Falls, SD - The Reno Bighorns (9-13) fell to the Sioux Falls Skyforce (15-11) 117-114 in overtime Friday night.

The Bighorns led 61-51 at halftime, but a strong third quarter by Sioux Falls gave the Skyforce the lead. The two teams went back and forth throughout the fourth quarter. Marcus Landry's 3-pointer with 2:39 left in the game tied it at 107-107. Sioux Falls' guard Donald Sloan missed a jump shot at the end of regulation, sending the game to overtime.

Sioux Falls out-scored the Bighorns 10-7 in the overtime period to pull ahead for good.

The Bighorns were led by Dar Tucker's season-high 28 points. Samardo Samuels added 26 points and a team season-high 16 rebounds. Landry finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Walker Russell also had a team season-high 15 assists.

Newly-acquired Desmon Farmer had nine points in his first game back with Reno.

The Skyforce were paced by Demetris Nichols' 34 points. The former Bighorn Sloan had a triple-double, with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 14 assists.
