SAN JOSE, CA- The San Jose Giants return to Municipal Stadium for an action-packed six game homestand Tuesday, May 1 through Sunday, May 6. The Northern California rival Stockton Ports come to San Jose for three games before the Inland Empire 66ers arrive on Friday for a weekend series. This will be the first time the Giants have met either team in 2012.
Promotions and Special Events:
Merchant Night: Be on the lookout at local businesses and stores for complimentary tickets to games on Tuesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 3.
OSH Merchant Night: Fans can pick up complimentary admission tickets to the games on Wednesday, May 2 and Thursday, May 3 at participating OSH stores one week prior to each game. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis, while quantities last. Below is a list of participating OSH stores:

Strikeout Violence Night: On Friday, May 4 the San Jose Giants present Strike Out Violence Night at Municipal Stadium. The evening will center around anti-bullying and feature country artist Matt Kennon. Festivities include a pregame concert with Matt Kennon, presented by KRTY, a Junior Giants Peace Pledge Ceremony and a special performance of Matt's single "You Had to Pick on Me." The San Jose Giants are scheduled to take on the Inland Empire 66ers at 7:00 PM.

Postgame Fireworks presented by Blossom Valley Pony Baseball: The Postgame Fireworks Extravaganza schedule continues on Saturday immediately following the 6:00 PM game, sponsored by Blossom Valley Pony Baseball.
Pepsi Pregame Clinic: Pepsi and the San Jose Giants have joined forces to present a clinic prior to the games on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6. Bring your glove and learn the fundamentals of baseball from a handful of San Jose Giants players. Registration begins 2 1/2 hours prior to first pitch at the first base side entrance next to the player's lot. After the clinic, participants will watch the instructors put their words into action as the Giants take the field against Inland Empire. Alliance Credit Union Kids Eat Free Sunday with your coupon from the Mercury News: Fans can cut out the Alliance Credit Union Kids Eat Free coupon from Sunday's Mercury News and redeem it at the San Jose Giants Box Office. For every youth ticket purchased, fans will receive a free hot dog and soda. The coupon must be presented at the time of purchase. The offer allows for only one ticket per coupon.
Martinelli's Apple Juice Kids Run the Bases: Following the conclusion of Sunday's game, kids are invited down onto the field to run the bases, courtesy of Martinelli's Apple Juice.

*General Admission tickets are NOT assigned seating. They are on a first come first serve basis in the stadium grandstand and bleachers.
Throughout the season, single game tickets will be available at the Box Office and over the phone at (408) 297-1435 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Tickets are also available online at sjgiants.com.

Comcast Hometown Network Coverage: The San Jose Giants and Comcast Hometown Network have once again joined forces to bring fans an expanded schedule of 20 LIVE television broadcasts during the 2012 season. The games can be viewed live on Comcast Hometown Network Digital Channel 104 throughout most Northern California regions. Tune in and catch Joe Ritzo and Dan Dibley call all the action on Friday, May 4 and then on Saturday, May 5 Joe Ritzo will be joined by Rocky Koplik as the Giants take on the Inland Empire 66ers.
Please note Saturday's game will be joined in progress. The broadcast will be replayed on Comcast Hometown Network (Channel 104), and will also be available any time of the day or night via Comcast's popular ON DEMAND platform http://www.fancast.com/ondemand, which is free to Comcast digital customers.
