
San Diego Wave FC Announces Updated Preseason Roster

San Diego Wave FC News Release
San Diego Wave FC today announced its updated preseason roster. The Wave will continue camp with 26 players, having seen the return of five players from international duty, as well as the addition of a non-roster invitee.
Goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan returns from the Canadian Women's National Team, while defender Naomi Girma, midfielder Taylor Kornieck and forward Alex Morgan were part of the U.S. Women's National Team roster for the SheBelieves Cup. In addition, Sofia Jakobsson has returned from international duty with Sweden where they played tune-up matches in the World Cup year.
San Diego Wave FC opens its 2023 season against Chicago Red Stars on Saturday, March 25, at Snapdragon Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. PT. Tickets for the match are available here.
