
San Diego Surf Beats Pendleton As Regular Season Nears

San Diego Surf News Release
San Diego, CA. The ABA San Diego Surf faced a tough opponent in a pre-season scrimmage game against the US Marines Varsity team at the Pendleton Pike Field Camp and won 116-93 behind Jamal Kendrick, who was named Player of the Game.
Kendrick, from Midwest State U in Texas, had a double-double with 31 points and 12 rebounds. Chris "Mr. Mid-Range" Agnes (Morehouse College, GA) contributed 25 points and 5 rebounds while Mike "Money" McNair (N. Arizona U) had 20 with 9 rebounds.
Top players for the Marines were Mike Ward, Derek Gray and Stephan Johnson with 22, 17 and 11 respectively, while Gray and Ray Adeyamo had 12 rebounds each. Although this game was not played by official ABA rules, the Surf's regular season begins on Sunday, December 6th with all the action, exciting halftime, entertainment and more.
