Seals lose tough one in Saskatchewan 13-8.
The Seals started off strong as Wes Berg notched his 38th goal of the season just 56 seconds into the game, followed closely by Tre Leclaire's impressive crease dive.
Saskatchewan dominated the second quarter, with Manns scoring his second goal, putting them ahead with three consecutive goals. San Diego faced penalty troubles, but their defense managed to kill off both power plays.
The third quarter saw Saskatchewan extending their lead with seven unanswered goals, including Manns securing a hat trick. San Diego struggled to break the streak, finally finding the net with a goal from Wardle. Despite quick responses from San Diego, Saskatchewan maintained their lead.
San Diego fought back in the final quarter, scoring three consecutive goals, but Saskatchewan responded swiftly, halting the momentum.
The San Diego Seals have officially clinched a home playoff game, scheduled for April 27th at 7pm PT at Pechanga Arena. The opponent is yet to be determined.
