SAN DIEGO GULLS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVE
SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned goaltender Kevin Boyle to the Utah Grizzlies, San Diego's primary affiliate in the ECHL.
Boyle, 23 (5/30/92), earned a 10-5-4 record with one shutout, a 2.27 goals-against average (GAA) and .924 save percentage (SV%) in 19 appearances with San Diego this season. The 6-2, 200-pound goaltender led AHL rookies in save percentage, ranks second in GAA and was tied for eighth in shutouts (minimum 19 games). The Manalapan, N.J. native has posted a 4-5-1 record with a 3.06 GAA and .902 SV% in 10 appearances with Utah this season.
