SAN ANTONIO STARS ANNOUNCE 2017 SCHEDULE
Stars To Open Season On The Road At New York On May 13 And Will Host The Phoenix Mercury For Their Home Opener On May 19
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 29, 2016) - The Stars will tip off the team's 15th season in San Antonio with back-to-back road games May 13 at New York and May 14 at Washington. San Antonio will host the Phoenix Mercury in their home opener May 19 at 7 p.m. at AT&T Center.
San Antonio plays four of their first six games on the road during May, followed by nine games in both June and July with five games at home and four on the road each month. The Seattle Storm and 2016 No. 1 pick Breanna Stewart will make two trips to the Alamo City on June 6 and August 5. The 2016 WNBA Champion Los Angeles Sparks, led by reigning MVP Nneka Ogwumike and Finals MVP Candace Parker, will make one trip to the AT&T Center on July 28 at 7 p.m.
In August, San Antonio will host five home contests and play three games on the road. Maya Moore and the three-time champion Minnesota Lynx will visit San Antonio August 25 at 7 p.m. for the Stars final home game of the regular season before San Antonio finishes on the road at New York on Sept. 1 and Indiana on Sept. 2.
"We have a lot to look forward to this upcoming season with some exciting matchups at AT&T Center," said Stars General Manager Ruth Riley. "The Stars have some of the most passionate fans in the league and we are excited to have our schedule released as we continue to plan and prepare for our 15th season with the Stars."

Single-game tickets will also be available at a later date, while season ticket plans for the 2017 Stars season are available now.
