San Antonio FC's Samuel Adeniran Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC forward Samuel Adeniran has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week, the league announced today.

Adeniran scored twice in SAFC's 2-0 win at Oakland on Saturday, his third brace of the season. The pair of goals extends his team lead for goals scored with nine, coming in just 15 matches.

The appearance marks the 23rd time this season that a San Antonio FC player has been named to the weekly list, and the second time Adeniran has made it onto the list.

SAFC is at home this weekend, hosting San Diego Loyal SC in a matchup against the top two teams in the USL Championship Western Conference. Kickoff from Toyota Field is set for 7:40 p.m. CT, with tickets available at SanAntonioFC.com or the SAFC app.
