San Antonio FC to Host Military Appreciation Night, Presented by Toyota, on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC will honor former military and active duty armed forces by hosting Military Appreciation Night presented by Toyota on Saturday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. as the team plays Reno 1868 FC at Toyota Field. SAFC players will wear special edition military-themed pregame tops which will be auctioned throughout the week to benefit Soldiers' Angels.

The first 1,000 fans at Toyota Field will receive a cooling towel courtesy of Toyota, while the match will feature a $5 margarita on the rocks drink special, from which a portion of proceeds will also benefit Soldiers' Angels. The night will conclude with an 'Extra Time' postgame party, which will feature live music, games, face painting, and $1 beer and sodas.

SAFC fans can bid online for the signed, player-worn pregame tops starting today at 4 p.m. at SAFC.givesmart.com, and the auction will be live through Saturday, June 8 at 11 p.m. Proceeds raised from the auction will benefit Soldiers' Angels, which provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, their families, and a growing veteran population.

Soldiers' Angels will also host a donation drive at Toyota Field on Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. in Lot 3. SAFC fans are encouraged to donate new sports balls and donors will receive points in the SAFC app, which can be redeemed for raffle entries ranging from signed team memorabilia to a trip to Las Vegas. The donation drive will move to the North and South Gates at 5:30 p.m. prior to doors opening for the match.

The Texas Air National Guard will host an on-field enlisting ceremony prior to the match, while the club will recognize all former and current servicemen and women during halftime. SAFC will also offer 20% off all SAFC merchandise as well as a hot dog, nachos, and 16oz. fountain drink combo for just $5 to anyone with a valid military ID. Active duty military personnel and veterans will also join the club for the singing of the national anthem as well as the presentation of colors prior to the match.

San Antonio FC is also offering a ticket--and--scarf package starting at just $20.
