San Antonio FC Hires Victor Lonchuk as Assistant Coach

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC has hired Victor Lonchuk as an assistant coach, the club announced today.
Lonchuk spent last season with D.C. United, serving as First Team Performance Director. The native of Buenos Aires, Argentina spent 2021 with Comunicaciones F.C. in the Guatemalan top division, and 2020 with Loudoun United FC. Lonchuk also spent 2017 with the New York Cosmos as a performance analyst.
Lonchuk's training and education includes a bachelors degree in physical education and master's degree in sports and exercise science with a focus in biomechanics and physiology. He holds USSF and UEFA coaching licenses in addition to his strength and conditioning specialist certification.
SAFC is next in action on Saturday, traveling to take on Monterey Bay F.C. at 9:00 p.m. CT. The match will be broadcast on ESPN+ nationally.
