San Antonio FC Falls 0-3 at Phoenix Rising FC

PHOENIX - San Antonio FC lost 0-3 at Phoenix Rising FC tonight, falling to 7-2-0 on the season despite outshooting Phoenix 25-23 and holding the advantage in possession at 52.3%. SAFC still sits second in the USL Championship Western Conference with 21 points.

SAFC trailed at halftime for the first time all season, after Phoenix goals in the 26th and 34th minutes. Phoenix would add another in stoppage time of the second half to make it a 3-0 defeat for San Antonio.

SAFC is back in action quickly, traveling to take on Houston Dynamo FC on Wednesday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. CT in the US Open Cup round of 32. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
