MATCH SUMMARY:

Danny Trejo, who is tied for USL Championship's league lead both in goals and assists, was subbed out of the game in the 28th minute due to an injury. Nathan Ordaz made his professional debut by taking Trejo's spot on the field.

After going into the halftime break with a scoreless tie, Monterey Bay FC put the ball in the back of the net with a rocket from outside the box courtesy of Walmer Martinez in the 56th minute.

Las Vegas closed their two game road trip with a 1-0 defeat against Monterey Bay FC, who were playing their first ever home game at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside, California.
