San Angelo Continues to Add Depth

San Angelo, Texas - The San Angelo Bandits plan on being stout against the run in 2016, acquiring former SEC standout Serderius Bryant and the Amarillo Venom's top turnover producer, Blake Adams.

"I'm excited that we have guys this talented ready to represent the Bandits," said General Manager and Head Coach Meadow Lemon. "These guys have the talent to play in the CFL or NFL and we look forward to them showing it off here."

Bryant (5'10" 220) was an All-SEC performer at Ole Miss. As a junior, he led the team with 78 tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss, and three forced fumbles despite missing a game with a concussion. He finished his career at Ole Miss with 232 tackles and helped turn the team around from 2-10 in 2011 to 9-4 in 2014. He went on to play in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Adams (5'11" 215) led the CIF's Venom with two interceptions in 2015, adding 27 tackles, two passes broken up, four passes defended, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble...in just six games. At Tennessee Tech, Adams started at linebacker, picking up 53 tackles as a junior and 66 as a senior.
