San Angelo Bandits News Release

San Angelo, Texas - The San Angelo Bandits picked up three defensive players, acquiring indoor rookie Donovan Todd and former IFLers Quinton Abron and Adam Dixon."When you play the indoor game, you want tall defensive backs," said General Manager and Head Coach Meadow Lemon. "We need to protect those end-zone fades and all three of these guys have the ability to get up there with any receiver."

Todd (5'11" 195) was a Florida State Seminole, part of the 2013 national championship team. He got a late start in college; after a troubled youth, he committed to football and school, enrolling in community college with his own money before earning a position in FSU's secondary.

Abron (5'11" 190) played one game with the Green Bay Blizzard, making four tackles and recovering a fumble. Prior to that, he played at Arkansas Tech University, where he compiled 61 tackles, a sack, an interception, and broke up three passes.

Dixon (5'10" 190), from Mesa, Arizona, played for Scottsdale CC, compiling nine tackles, three passes broken up, four interceptions, and a forced fumble before heading to Missouri State University and spending time with the IFL's Green Bay Blizzard.
