San Angelo Colts News Release
San Angelo, Texas----The San Angelo Colts have officially released their 2010 schedule. The Colts begin the season at home on May 27 against the defending United League Champion Amarillo Dillas in a rematch of last years championship series. First pitch on opening day will be at 7:05, as will all Colts home games except Sundays which begin at 6:05. San Angelo will both start as well as end the season at home with the finale being on August 30.
The playoffs begin immediately on the day after the season ends on September 1. The top four teams will make the playoffs. The first place team will play the fourth place team and the second place team plays the third place team, in a best of three format for the semi-finals. The United League Championship series will be a best of five format.
The schedule will feature 93 total games with 45 home games at Foster Field. The home schedule will include five Mondays, four Tuesdays, six Wednesdays, eight Thursdays, nine Fridays, seven Saturdays, and six Sundays.
