San Angelo Bandits Tryouts Yield Four Players Signed

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10. 2012 held tryouts for the 2013 San Angelo Bandits Indoor Professional Football Team, there was a good turnout and Coach Simpson signed three players and a coach for the upcoming training camp next March. One of the players signed before the tryouts was:

Shane Hudnall:

The San Angelo Bandits are proud to announce the signing of local resident Shane Hudnall

Hudnall, originally from Tyler, TX, signed out of Tyler Lee with the University of Texas and then transferred to TCU where he excelled as both a receiver and place kicker for the Horned Frogs.

Shane brings one year of arena experience where he was one of the IFL's top ranked kickers connecting on 47% of his field goal attempts and 78% on extra points.

"Shane is a very versatile athlete who can contribute in all three phases of the game, stated Bandits Head Coach Chris Simpson. Shane has a very strong and accurate leg and I look forward to coaching a young man that has solid character and integrity."

OPEN TRYOUTS will be held again Mid- January and all the players not signed are invited back in January plus any new prospects that want to play Professional Football.
