Waterloo, Iowa-Forward Jordan Samuels-Thomas was among the late picks in the NHL Entry Draft Saturday in Montreal.
With nine slots remaining in the final round, the Atlanta Thrashers took Samuels-Thomas with the 203rd overall draft pick.
Last season, Samuels-Thomas became the first Black Hawk since 2004-2005 to reach the 30-goal milestone, leading the team with 32.
